PRP Platelet-Rich Plasma
PRP combines skin resurfacing with the application of blood-derived growth factors to regulate cell growth, repair damaged tissue and promote collagen and healthy cell production. PRP treatment is used to treat texture, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles. It also reduces stretch marks caused by weight and muscle gain or loss. PRP can be done by itself, for hair loss, or in a two-step treatment including Micro-Needling or ResurFX™ and the application of your body’s own nutrient and protein rich plasma.
Skinlogics offers the best PRP treatment for skin rejuvenation and hair loss. Our experts use advanced techniques to isolate and concentrate platelets from your blood, which are then injected into targeted areas to stimulate cell growth and collagen production.
FAQ
How is PRP derived?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is derived from whole blood. During your visit, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, similar to a basic lab test. The patient’s blood is then placed into a centrifuge. During the centrifugation process, the red blood cells, white blood cells, and other inflammatory cytokines are separated from plasma, which contains platelets along with several platelet derived growth factors. Once the platelet-rich plasma is separated, it is drawn up into a syringe and either micro-needled into the skin, or applied directly to the skin post- ResurFX™.
