Regularly scheduled facial treatments are an important part of a comprehensive skincare routine, and are key to achieving healthy, hydrated, clear skin. When exfoliated on a consistent basis, the skin cell turnover rate increases, resulting in a more youthful and brighter skin tone. In addition, this treatment also improves circulation and stimulates collagen production, the foundation to fresh, firm skin.

Having a monthly check-in with a Medical Aesthetician also ensures your skin is getting the attention it deserves and the best treatments to preserve healthy skin. How often you should have a facial depends on your skin type and goals. During a complimentary consultation, your provider will review the best skincare routine and treatment plan for optimal results.

There is not much you need to do before your facial appointment. We recommend not exfoliating the day before your treatment, as this will be performed on a deep level (if needed). It is best to avoid sun exposure a minimum of 48 hours before your treatment.
